Sounds like adhd maybe? What works for me is mild distraction through audio books. I only listen to them if I have some sort of mindless activity to do at the same time, and since I want to get forward in the audiobook, I find constant reasons through cleaning and exercise, etc..

I have a 3070 and it runs the majority of games better than windows. The "Nvidia doesnt work good for linux" statement has become dated. Nvidia has become much better about giving support to other platforms, I think it has alot to do with being flexible for the ai market
