Also in Belgium. You know that the Belgian army was in the Congo during that period? That means government support. The state literally gave him the money for his "purchase" and also paid propagandists to promote it. They also took it over in 1908 officially and continued to exploit them, enforcing an alpartheid, and kidnapped thousands of children. Our grandparents were literally the ones doing the kidnapping.

You know that belgian citizens cut off the hands of children and workers, mass raped women and children, and mass executed people in the Congo? We can't hide and "b-b-but Leopold acted alone, it wasn't Belgium" our way out of recent ancestors committing genocide. King Leopold never even went to the Congo.

This is exactly the same as saying "america didn't elsave millions of african people, private people and companies did". It still happened. The american government also aren't the ones physically killing children in Gaza.

It replaced KDE connect for me. It is KDE connect but "intentional" sharing/no link

    • Share between windows work computer and phone but only files and not the persistent link
    • share between computer and android TV
    • share with partner at home without a server (especially scanned documents)
    • transfer large files locally between phones (e.g. new phone)

There are definitely more too, but that is quick off the top of my head. It is also much easier for non-tech people to wrap their heads around.

I have a Fairphone 6 with CalyxOS. It is literally the largest phone I have ever had. Definitely not a small phone... Very happy with the phone except for its large size. It literally doesn't fit into my bike phone holder or almost any I can find online. Other than that, great phone with built in work profile, unlockable and relockable bootloader, etc... Switch is handy too for vibrate switch (it has a variety of options for functions) like the old iphones.

The only recent phone that is a similar form factor as the S10e is the Sony Xperia 10 VI from 2024 (and I guess Oukitel minis but I don't think you can get those) maybe the 10VIII that is one full centimeter taller. 168g vs 150g (S10e). The fairphone is 193g, almost 30% heavier that your current phone.

Pixel 10a might be a compromise in between the Sony 10VIII and the fairphone and runs GrapheneOS or calyxOS.

Running the fairphone 6 on CalyxOS.

Good seamless install and updates, supported a company looking to be just a bit more sustainable, didn't have to support google, got similar protections against corporations that geaphene does, just not the physical protections against state actors which isn't really in my threat model.

Repair ability does not compromise the security for all but the tiniest subset of specific targets. Full stop.

Sorry, but anyone making this argument is insane. You would have to be a top level state agent or corporate target for this to matter, in which case you would have dedicated security teams anyway.

Anyone stealing your phone not specifically targeting you or your information will wipe your phone to resell it and repairability will not matter.

Anyone after your data generally will use software attacks, phishing, etc... Repairability has no effect.

Anyone stealing your phone specifically to target your data for physical extraction, absolutely has a simple heat gun and ifixit 20€ repair kit if they have the capability to physically extract keys to break your encryption. If they do a bit of damage to the phone case or screen in the process, they don't give a shit, they are in.

The only argument that could be made is specifically timed attack with a dedicated person or team where they steal your phone, disassemble it, hack it, plant malware, reassemble it (and somehow not have the tools to reassemble it in the same condition), and deliver it back to the same location, all without you noticing that it was ever missing. That is a subset of the 0.1% of people that would be targets for the above attack. This is the world leaders, musk/bezos/lizards, heads of dissent organizations, etc...

Also, why would they do this and not just pay an Israeli hacking company to place a targeted malware ad to instantly install spyware? Much cheaper, more effective, and repeatable for months or years until it breaks in.

Sadly, it always completely messes up flowcharts for me that are more than 2 next to eachother. It starts placing blocks in "random" places like putting a 3rd level if the flow chart by the first level and having crazy arrows going around.

I prefer excalidraw or the diagrams.net plugin because of this.

Find form videos for roman deadlifts. You can do single leg roman deadlifts without any weight, but pretending you have a bar for balance.

Physically squeeze your glutes when you come up and while not locking your knees, push your hips out. That should be able to get you to feel the muscles activating. You won't be doing huge growth without weights, but it is good for building the mind-muscle connection for that muscle group.
