Perhaps? Can anyone think of an example of expensive software being market dominant when free/inexpensive options exist? Perhaps go look out your Windows at some Adobe walls. Maybe this will be the case where the 3rd neurons of C-suite types activates. Though I can hear someone who has never had a real day of work in their life saying "it's too expensive and we're not going to [spend less money for a permanent solution, probably stated as though it's an impossible task because they don't understand it], go back to the old ways and we'll give ourselves promotions for correcting this SUPER INTELLIGENCE boondoggle we created."

Keep holding on. LLMs are still in the operate-at-a-loss-to-control-the-market stage. Once they start charging the real cost, human software engineers will be more in demand. That and refocus. All of human history is careers reinventing themselves as new tools become available.

What an interesting twist of logic. SpaceX is three companies in a trenchcoat and laughably overvalued. Even by their own hilariously optimistic IPO documentation, the rocketry company represented a very small portion of the overall value. So sure, pay for the rocketry part. Now let's see how Starlink fares (literally) without a build-in government floated launch platform. It's okay though, because xAI will be worth $22,000,000,000,000 any day now.

Yes, and be sure to call anyone who disagrees a monster and idiot. Bonus points if after calling them an idiot you say something factually wrong like you're dropping truth bombs. Then step outside and enjoy a victory smoke, the weather is wonderful this time of year in Moscow.

I'm not sure being on foot in most US cities is a great idea. Car-centric design and low density means you can't disrupt much and you're basically caging yourself in for authorities with car to have their way with you. That's probably why it's encouraged. Meanwhile, like 20 cars strategically placed could shut down / turn to chaos a large city.

The roughly infinity times worse aspect is them copying Trump's signature blown-out-asshole lip pursing. I went decades never seeing a human being do that. Those were happy times. The closest thing I can recall was the Guild Navigator from the Lynch Dune movie who was a horribly mutated creature, it sort of had the Trump Lips. Now people all over, the worst people, are doing it regularly.
