It's any Linux distro with KDE, plus one installed package and you get a tv interface on a computer. You can use Jellyfin with any "Air mouse" you want, and Plex htpc, plus waydroid for android apps. And worse case, is something doesn't work, you've always got a normal web browser.

Anyone know any specific about this device? I cannot find a manufacturer or anything.
Its about 0.5m wide, and maybe half that thick.
There are wifi AP's also, and a few cameras in the store. But there are more of these dishes than cameras and AP's combined.
I know stores do bluetooth tracking through stores, but this device is way to big for that. Also wifi makes little sense given the AP's elsewhere. High powered RFID for monitoring pieces of merchandise maybe?

How are you installing the browsers? Flatpak? AppImage?
Skepticism is good here. However, I was not able to replicate this. On Mullvad and Tor, with "Safer" settings, both gave me a new ID after a browser restart.

Does anyone know more about these devices? Some are obviously cameras, but the others are likely some radio scanning, potentially BLE, but I don't know. Anyone know?
