I wholely recommend climbing/bouldering walls. Gets you fitter, most people are super friendly and if you pick a regular day you'll meet people. Most of them do a intro to climbing course where you can meet people and then a beginners or intermediate weekly session where you can meet people and get some guidance on getting better

Yeah there is which I'm greatful for. I think that's a very good idea. When we got together we talked about that kind of thing and I thought we were on the same page. But I think she had all intentions to, but feel back on habits of old that I didn't realise were there until later in our relationship.

Yeah. From my POV it's how we were made to socialise and be part of our community. The rise of the internet and life expenses have made this smaller and smaller but that's a rant for another day haha

It's not just about taking on advice. It's having different views points and trying to understand how others who also have autism see it. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what is said on here, I have to decide what works best for my situation but having more information and how people see it, allows me to understand it better.

Yeah I've tried and she has got a bit of support with it but because it doesn't 'fix all the problems' she doesn't fully commit. I'm trying to explain that it won't just fix things and soon she's going to have help from our local council mental health team so hopefully something more intensive will help her

Hey, I know that all relationships are different and I'm not looking for direct advice, but just curious as to how other people have experienced this.

My partner has audhd and has said many times that I am their safe person. They struggle making friends and don't have much of a family so (to me) a lot of pressure has fallen on me in that role.

I am looking to step away from the relationship but whenever I talk to my partner, she follows our conversations with a meltdown and says she doesn't have a safe person and doesn't feel safe any more.

Can anyone explain their experiences with this and things that may have been helpful or things that made it worse?

    Thank you

If you have friends they will. Even with how you're feeling right now, if one on them sudden had some horrific news and asked to just talk to/at you, you'd show up right? They'll do the same. It's great that you're reaching out to people here, reach out to people in real life as well. It might not be perfect if they have other commitments, but I'm sure they will find time to help. Hell write it all down and DM me if that'll help!

I am buying a house because fuck landlords. I'm being kicked out of my place by 'no fault' and I've had enough of living at the whims of another money hording person being a dick.... Ok rant part over... This new house is old and a bit beat up but solid enough to start a life in. It also has a big (by my standard) garden which I have no idea what to outside of just 'plant stuff'. I don't have measurements or know the size of anything, but I want to somehow give some of my space to those who don't have any and make it a place to share. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

Climbing/bouldering. As a not overly sporty nerdy type, I found this to be amazing. All the climbs are called problems and require you to think about how you're using your body to solve them.

99% of the community is amazing because it's not really a vs sports in a traditional sense. It's you vs the wall and even if you do something that is 'easy' for someone else if they can see you tried hard they will be pysched for you.

There are lots of beginner groups and meet up days or if you go on regular days, you'll end up talking to the same people about the climb you're doing so you build friendship as an adult which is difficult otherwise.

Also it's not in front of a screen which I love.

I'd try looking for your local gym and doing the intro course and seeing if it vibes with you.

Yeah that makes sense. You can see that from your timelapse. The way you remove the sketch shows that a layer, and the way the colour blends show a layer. And the way it blends between mountains to backdrop before you remove thay sketch. It's a really cool affect! My stuff is way more layered and blocky so trying this is blowing my mind a little 🤣

    Amazing thank you!

Do you have any more detailed explaination on what that means haha! No worries if not as I understand this isn't a tutorial, just curious as I have only ever used block colour and have no idea how to go about this. I will try either way 🤣

So I have 'just started reading'. After a lifetime of being dyslexic and thinking I disliked books, I've realised that if I find something in my wheel house and with a little perseverance of getting over the inital hump, I'm really enjoying it. However a few months after reading a book, I've kind of forgotten the finer points and details I enjoyed. Does anyone write up books they've read and what tips have you got/do you have any templates?
