You want an idea of how insane this one is? Sure, Kansas didn't go solid blue like Texas, but understand, the last time they had a Dem senator was 1932. You gotta screw up bad to lose Kansas to a Democrat.

My dad talks about the air conditioner. He says how people don't go out on the porch now which leads to talking to neighbors because the temperature inside is nicer. That not talking to neighbors means doing it all on ones own which requires that instant gratification.

I want to argue but this last summer was definitely a staying inside one.

The only difference between round 1 and this time is round 1 there were some in his party that thought they could control him and it was blatantly obvious they weren't ready to actually win the election. That's why you had so much turnover and can actually set a political time period of a Scaramucci being 10 days. This time around the Heritage Foundation hitched their wagon to his horse. Remember also, he bought the hotel right down from the white house and refused to separate himself from it so you had foreign influences staying there trying to get cozy with him.

Openly gloating about how profitable the little people's struggles are, he did plenty of that in Covid, and if you knew anything about the man, plenty before he was elected. This is the guy who's always been infamous for not paying his debts.

This is Trump we're talking about. His mask was always paper thin and falling off fifteen minutes after he said anything "politically savvy"

Anyone who has been fooled by him is a fucking idiot.

I think the thing I miss most since Trumps first run is my sense of empathy and sympathy. I used to have a belief of sure there's disagreement and there's room for it. Fuck that noise now. Republicans keep voting to hurt my friends consistently. At this point anyone says they're a republican I assume they've lost all sense of humanity, and the head of their party at this point has zero redeeming qualities... even amongst his supporters his chronic backstabbing can't stop.

Biomed might be a bit more ADHD for some, but it hits all the tropes.

I don't know what I'm going to repair day to day, I'll get all sorts of weird stuff. And sometimes get interrupted which irritates me when I'm in the middle of a big project.

But my time clock is regular daily. I go in, I triage what I can repair vs send out, what is needed immediately vs being put on the "When I get slow period" and figure out how to put in PMs. And what that really looks like is if there's no emergency repairs, I ask my self what am I feeling that day. Do I want boring and repetitive? Lets go PM some machines. Do I want a bit of thinking, lets repair something I've repaired dozens to hundreds of, the troubleshooting is the thinking time. Do I want something novel, time to dig up some manuals and find something I've never worked on before.

I mean, I live in Missouri, Josh Hawley being a piece of shit is a non-partisan thing. But the second it comes to choices, they'd rather that instead of voting for democrat.

I'll give credit for a conservative doing the bare minimum. It is very difficult for them to remove their lips from the asses of the party leadership.

    socialist tyranny of health care

Lot of Gen Z is under 26, which means they can be under their parents healthcare. Have a coworker that's in that and until my job he didn't realize healthcare costs for insurance that comes out of paychecks. Like I told him, save up while he can be under his parents insurance.

But anyone older than, at this moment, being born after 10/18/2000 is now falling into the insurance pile.

Sucks... but this is the choice the country made.

He does. They're not rich, they can't do anything for him other than vote. Trump doesn't involve himself with anyone who can't give him something.

If they were outside his place asking for anything he'd be the first to call security to get the "undesirables" out.
