Trek may be dead, and now Dr Who may be dead. Marvel and Star Wars in decline.

This is why we have classic Star Trek.

And The Orville.

And we just lost out on the stargate revival too, as amazon after starting the the media push earlier this year, has now decided to kill it suddenly.

Too big to fail is ALSO too big to care.

The ONLY focus will be money.

There’s no way Avatar survives this either.

(As in the bending one, not the blue people one).

Paramount killed Trek long before this happened 🤷

I’m a LOTR nut and we actually look at it as a good outcome if no more LOTR shit can be made, period.

I guess Trek is not like that, though a lot of people seem to think some shows/movies should never have been made.

Just trying to offer a positive spin on franchise death.

The title reminded me of one of my favorite indie albums by a band that died before they became villains and I thought you all would like them.

They’re called Rodeo Ruby Love and named after the singer’s grandmother or something. It’s kind of Weezer meets They Might Be Giants? Maybe?

Anyway, here’s a link if anyone cares: https://youtu.be/HgBfld0v6Dk

ETA: This is my favorite song on the album. By FAR. https://youtu.be/EJREjJJ6uN0

See? All that kneeling in front of the president helped them get what they wanted!

“Little?”
