Can't wait to hear about the 40 hour long standing ovation.

Unpopular opinion, but this movie didn't live up to the hype for me. Some incredible creature design, but the story just felt so shallow. Way more style than substance :/

Upvoted for a truly unpopular opinion. Could be the effort of having to read it made people rate it more highly than it deserved. I don't remember the story seeming thin but it's been 15 years since I've seen it.

I watched it a few years after release with zero expectations, just a general recommendation by a family member and I thought it was it was a great experience. Although I can sort of agree with the more style than substance arguement.

Cool! Let's turn down some guy with a great movie idea so we can bring back a decades old movie instead. Also an unpopular opinion, I guess.
