Wasn't the xenomorph a biological weapon itself? This some weird fractal recursion type shit.

    It might not kill you though, it might psychically control you and use you as a worker bee to drag more prey back to the hive. (In the comics the queens can get pretty intelligent and recognize humans as useful for more than incubators)
