How the hell would I be able to keep track of those 3 days without a potato clock? 😩
post
I never understood why in the US (North America? Europe?) children do this experiment with potatoes. Use a citric fruit instead, much better at moving ions around.
I think it’s because every American thinks they’re Irish
I think its because potatoes rot a lot slower giving the kid time to enjoy the clock.
And the kid can eat it in the end.
Oranges seem a good alternative. Oranges and Tomatoes used to be extremely abundant in the U.S. not sure I want to check their prices now
Probably because potatoes are less messy than citrus fruits. No teacher wants to deal with an even stickier classroom.
Yeah, I could probably do it.
300 million what, though?
Grams of gravel
Ok, then yeah, I’d like to try. Do you need my credit card, or do you take Venmo?
It's lice. You get 300 million lice.
Now, can you build the potato clocked, huh?
What’s the money even worth without my tater time? :(
what am i going to do with 300million potatoes if i can’t build clocks for 3 days?
Depends: 300 million what?
If it's dollars? Sure!
If it's feral hogs, I guess I better learn how and get to building ASAP!
Edit: Oh wait, re-read it! It seems I get the 300 million feral hogs in advance?
Yeah, I DEFINITELY won't be able to construct anything while some lunatic desperately attempts to cram hundreds of millions of deadly swine into my 3rd floor apartment 😬
