Nah, don’t worry he’s not. Things just still suck this much. But we can make it better, not perfect, but better. One community at a time.

At this point this obsession with Lenin becomes truly annoying.

    https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/Lemmy

Lemmy was created in August 2019 by two communist developers known as Dessalines and Nutomic. Their goal for Lemmy was to provide an open-source alternative to Reddit that anyone could self-host and federate with other Lemmy instances, effectively exchanging content between platforms.

    from russian accounts

    Uh no, that’s BlueAnonsense. Previously.

And then fun part is that this quote is, in fact, turned to be a manipulation speech to push and encourage workers to revolution only to not keep his promises and indeed to do everything for the survival of his new regime.

Lenin was correct, and still is today. Lemmy was made by communists, communists have been here since the beginning. I'm not Russian either. Lenin kept his promises, the soviet union dramatically uplifted the working classes, doubling life expectancy, democratizing the economy, and developing out of the feudal squalar they existed in beforehand.

    Communism is the answer.

I do, in fact it took a good deal of reading to overcome my anti-communist bias. I used to think the same way, that the soviet union was a disaster, etc. until I started engaging more with history books and Marxist-Leninist theory.

    Marxism isn't a religion, it's an ideology.

For real. At least Kim Jong Un has a cool leather jacket and rad sunglasses; Lenin's legacy's a bit shit.

Nestor Makhno, though... That's someone to idolize!
