My guess is that we'll see some technological advances in teleportation/portal tech.

I personally hate it when franchises set up interesting stuff and then just abandon it in plot limbo! The world you play in will know about Ryley, the kharaa, the Architects (to an extent), and other things you discovered in SN1/BZ. There have even been some technological advances you might be able to guess from the themes of the series so far. Curious to see if anyone calls them before they're revealed in game.
