https://mermaid.live/, makes you learn a new syntax that works like a markdown, but it's pretty good. Especially, if you don't like working with GUI applications.

Like, are the containers related somehow?

If you just want to know whats running, there are a ton of docker autoexplore dashboard out there. But I don't think they output a map, just a list.

I use markup for that, mostly mermaid.
