Smart on them. The world should minimalize my shithole nation as much as possible so our asshole politicians stop thinking they can do what they want globally.

    Okay?

I mean, a broken clock and all, but Donald was right that Europe relies too much on the US for defense.

And we see what happens in Europe when the US stops buying European and Chinese stuff.

Bye bye VW and the whole export-led laissez-faire economic model.

They trusted the US. They were supposed to be able to rely on us.

They were destroyed after ww2 and we (us and Europe) made a shit load of deals. Like that they'd buy weapons from us, and that we'd put bases on their land.

Trump was not right, he was listening to putin and being manipulative. Ur being manipulative too, with that manufactured consent message.

What? Manufactured consent? Are you okay?

Donald may have been right for the wrong reasons. He used Europe’s vulnerability as leverage.

Not that I think America should throw Europe to the wolves.

But Europe would be wise to remove that vulnerability.

As they should. America needs to save itself for its own sake, not to try to go back to the way things were

us democracy does need salvaging and trump's presence has little to nothing to do w it -- this would have happened anyways if trump wasn't around

    They better.

But we know too well that capital would go for the lowest cost solution. If halting the decoupling from the US is the cheapest, that's what they'll do and that's what European politicians would do. UNLESS European citizens keep turning away from the parties that represent capital and push for independence.

The same is true for us in Canada.

Fankly Europe does need to be more independent anُd has needed to for a long time. Sad any of us have had to endure Trump though. Though it has made this obvious.
