I just found out we're going there to see Angine De Poitrine. But it's right next to an airport. How do they block the racket of jets taking off?

The airport isn't an issue in my experience.

Usually sounds fine. No sound from the airport since it's a totally different area.

First of all, there are no jets at the island airport. The runway's not long enough so there are only propellor planes.

Secondly, it's not right next to it, it's on a different island.

Thirdly it's an amphitheatre so it has natural bowl walls that block outside sound.

Fourthly, you already have tickets, so the question and answers to it don't matter whatsoever.

I saw Sigur Ros there and never noticed the planes. Come to think of it, anytime I'm near the Harbourfront I'm not aware of them. Billy Bishop is only built for smaller planes.
