I wouldn’t be surprised if this feature could be or isn’t already extendable to the whole OS for the Feds

Its actually really easy to opt-out to all of these big tech features: don't buy from big tech companies. Or if you must, root them and install your own OS.
That’s, like, a search box logger? Not a “key logger.” Seems like a title that could easily be more precise and still attract eyeballs.
Edit: oh, it’s OP editorializing.
Aw man the app store is where I put all my passwords and private journal entries
So I should type “pee poo piss poo” over and over every day, got it
Just the app store that we know about? I wonder if google follows suit on android, and microsoft on anything they have similar on computers.
That's really not so bad as a walled garden you paid a premium price to enter presenting you with sponsored apps when you do a search in the app store.
This comment "Much ado about nothing.
All Apple systems monitor your data input in real time to get better context of what you're doing. There's nothing sinister about it.
It's not just Apple. Google Search does the same thing, every key you typed will bring up results relevant to your input for decades."
It does [sketchy stuff] because [reason mentioned on the text]. Nothing sinister about that! [Most sinister company] does it too!
It’s a shame the app store is such a terrible interface. As atrociously bad as the Amazon interface is, at least you have some limited ability to sort & filter results. Apple just says ‘fuck you’ and shoves what they want in your face.
