This is using the exact same idealist view on religion that was used during medieval times to not only justify Israels existence but to justify how they are of higher levels of existence than everyone else. It's a non falsifiable paradox.
When our parents say they want to be our friends, that’s nice. But we better also respect them as teachers. Totally equalizing them is demeaning them and arrogant of us. When Jews say they want to be everyone’s friends and allies, that’s nice. But Gentiles better also give them respect as their teachers.
The first time I read this kind of nonsense I thought it was a joke, then that it was an exception. Now I know, that I was being naive. Even now, I had to check it because i couldn't believe that it was real.
Following the logic of that headline, wouldn't the people writing it also not be extremely bigoted in similar fashion to any other authoritarian regime telling their people they're above everyone else?
Another possibly even better article: https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/are-jews-better/

To the privileged, equality feels like oppression.
I'm content ignoring the privileged while I can.
Again, the Israeli government, IDF, and Jewish organizations are the biggest drivers of antisemitism
Remind me of one of my favorite quotes:
"You are not special. You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We're all part of the same compost heap. We're all singing, all dancing crap of the world. Unless, of course, you're Jewish. Then, disregard everything i just said."
ETA: can't believe i missed it. "Jübermensch"
And opinions like that are partially responsible for the existence of Nazis.
their Divinely ordained task is to be exemplary to all of humanity. To be G^d’s ambassadors on earth, fighting for the good of everyone.
This guy is my new favorite comedian.
I hate people telling me I'm Jewish just because my mother is Jewish, like, no, I don't identify as Jewish, I'm as much a Jew as I'm a man
