This is a trap.

Just like how Republicans and their propaganda networks spun up the “trans” thing last time around to get morons voting and motivated to spread the word about how crazy and evil democrats are, they are teeing up “Islamophobia” for the next round of elections.

Now, Abdul is an absolute giga-chad. He’s smart, charismatic and if anyone listens to him speak understands that he’s not som scare movie villain.

The propagandosphere is good though. Just like they vilified Obama, another amazingly charismatic and hard-to-hate/fear figure, they will frame their headlines and stories in the most negative ways.

Photos of his wife in headscarves? You bet. Should clips of him saying something in Arabic? Of course…

Or.... people get to see they are just normal, cool folks who dress a little differently and speak another language, just like if someone were Hispanic or native.

With Obama they said he was legally unable to serve as President, and it really appealed to MAGA to throw him out on a technicality. A key difference is a US senator isn't required to be a natural born citizen so even if they convinced folks Abdul wasn't born here it wouldn't matter.

Also Abdul won being openly Muslim. Obama won as a Christian. So the secret Muslim thing holds no water.
