Can't escape AI slop projects from meat proxies man. Every single open source project smells like Claude Code recently. Sad times.

Wouldn't it be great to master a language like C while also grasping the logic behind other programming languages? I’m not entirely against artificial intelligence, but it’s completely useless—it’s absolute garbage.

I for one grasp C and work with it, no big deal. AI does it well too and is probably going to eat the fun-of-coding out of my job. That's sad to me but, it's not useless. For now there's a lot of stuff we didn't maintain like docs and unit tests and thanks to ai it's kept up to date now, not that it's very important but we strive at just doing more, not being less workers.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Regardless of how proficient an LLM (large language model) might be at documentation and coding, it remains just that—an LLM. If you write the documentation yourself, you can craft it in a way that is both engaging and humorous. I am not suggesting that we should avoid using LLMs altogether; I simply believe they should be used with moderation.
