It finally happened. After 8 years of usage, R*ddit decided to force me to prove my age to even see the front page. I absolutely refuse to give them my face or ID, so I guess it's finally time to let the dumpster fire go. I hope the platform burns to the ground asap. Really hope its current state generates more activity here, Lemmyverse really does seem like what Reddit should have been.

That reminds me, time to flip this back to on... ...and done. Shout out to Controld, hopefully they are still not a shitbag company because I swear every time I adopt a service they go south or get ideological.
