Can't escape AI slop projects from meat proxies man. Every single open source project smells like Claude Code recently. Sad times.

Why can't you just accept that some people feel that they benefit from using AI?

Billionaires probably also feel like they benefit from contributing to environmental damage and societal collapse like you prompstitutes.

Societal collapse is inevitable with or without AI if we let capitalism continue. Also do you know how much AI actually contributes to global warming? There are so many things you could be doing such as not eating meat, not owning a car or using a smaller car and driving it less, organising against capitalism before you consider lecturing people on their AI usage.

I'm doing what I can. Stop with the whataboutism.

But if you want to lecture others about the (relatively small) environmental impact of AI you can't ignore the environmental impact of all your other habits can we? But for some reason people here are so adamant about the horrible environmental cost of AI but comparatively silent about everything else.

    Swing and a miss.

Checking post history to see who I'm talking to is called due diligence, champ. You have sadder shit in your profile that I did you the courtesy of not quoting because it's not relevant to the topic at hand.

I feel like you're the bottom half of that shitty meme you posted.

Bold of you to call me a clown from inside the circus. Also, I didn't post the meme.

No idea what you mean by that. And yes, you did post a meme https://lemmy.ml/post/54966051/28807351

On this end, you responded to an upstream post - federation does weird things to comment threading.

As for the 2nd meme: I posted it. I’m Gus. You just accidentally complimented my methodology and insulted yourself. Do you need me to type more s-l-o-w-l-y?

Friend, you're clearly getting tilted. Every single reply has a highschool tier dig tagged on for no reason.

You know you can have actual discussions with people in these threads, right?

Tilted? Hell no, I'm having a blast :)

But serious discussion about AI - on Lemmy? The famously fair and even-handed Lemmy? Where a single thread had people calling others morons, bots and accusing them of being anally puppeteered by Claude Code for having the temerity to disagree?

    Nah.

We tried the substantive debate downstream.
