“One of the things that we heard last night, resoundingly across the country, is that we are in ... a new movement in this country,” Flanagan said. “Many of us were elected who refused corporate PAC money, who are beholden only to the people who elected us and are ready to fight for bold change. And so I think it’s time for new leadership.”

As one of her constituents, I'm happy she understands why she won. We don't want the same Democratic party we've been getting. They actually have to start improving things.

so, if ms flanagan would've been a status-quo democrat, you would've voted for the zero qualifications media personality who praised and defended the fed's assault on the nation's cities to the point of using ice footage in her campaign ads and only changed her tune after they murdered two minnesotans?

ms flanagan won because she is well liked, well respected, and has done a good job wherever she's been... and was the most qualified person on the ballot

You seem like a person who is searching for reasons to be mad. I don't see any point in engaging with that attitude, so this will be my only response: I hope you get a handle on whatever is causing you to lash out like this; best of luck to you [Tone Indicator: Genuine].

None of those necessarily determine the outcome of elections.

I think a lot of people don't understand how true this is, so they instinctively downvote you

As an example: Minnesota doesn't actually vote for the Democratic party. We have an affiliate coalition party, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party

No, she won because she's the Democratic candidate in fucking Minnesota. After what Trump did here, there was zero chance any Republican was winning a state-wide election this year
