BERLIN — Hubert Aiwanger, the leader of a conservative party that has become a mainstay of Bavarian politics and sought to expand its influence across Germany, has been found dead at a Berlin hotel.

The body of Aiwanger, who was Bavaria’s deputy governor and the southern state’s economy minister, was found in his hotel room in the centre of the capital on Wednesday evening, Berlin police and prosecutors said. Prosecutors said that an autopsy carried out Thursday produced no evidence that anyone else was involved in his death.

This headline made me realize that "Found dead in a hotel" sounds like they were found dead in their room and probably died of a heart attack or drug overdose, whereas "Found dead at a hotel" makes it sound like they were shot and stuffed in a cleaning supply closet.

Shot twice in the back of the head and stuffed into a locked duffle bag. No foul play suspected.

Didn’t that actually happen to a British spy? Found in a duffel bag and they said they concluded they put themselves in there which was obviously impossible, and then someone related to the case died falling down their stairs
