Then wtf is the point of moving to London? I know someone obsessed with it and yet they never seem to find jobs that pay much more than everyone else is on. +£150 a month pay, -£600 car, fuel, maintenance? Lol ok.

    The whole of the south east is only worth living in if A you we born here so the emotional cost of moving is too high or B you're a banker wanker.

    I live in the south east now and its about the same cost as when I lived in the south west. The south east covers quite a wide area. Moved from Wiltshire to Hampshire.

    I love London. One of my favorite places in the world where I have so many friends and I'm never bored. Always something to do ....

    Went back there to visit recently and things got even more pricier after COVID. I'm surprised people even go out as much. I bought some beers as Tesco's and drank them at the park because the bars and pubs were so pricey.
