Accusations like “how hard is it to understand…” and “people should…” feel preachy, since this is lemmy people are driven by feelings more than argument so something like “I believe…” is much more palatable

You see a tragedy where a crew and entire family with kids gets turned into char and your knee-jerk comment is "Weeell, were any of those people financially successful? Because if they were, that would turn this tragedy into a wholesome moment 🤗"

yeah the term “Reddit moment” makes me cringe so badly i shrivel into a prune. The emoji as well

And I mean it still pretty accusatory with the “you see a tragedy…” and obviously supporting capitalists in any way is just gunna get you lynched
