Alas, the previous moderator became inactive, so I have taken over the moderatorship for now, but seeking volunteer(s) from the community to volunteers as moderators.

If you're decently active on Lemmy and don't have a modlog showing you're a Bad User™¹, and are willing to check for reports daily or so - and handle them in a responsible manner (removing rule-violating posts/comments, not removing things that you don't agree with but don't violate rules². You also need ot have a lemmy.world account (this can be an alt that you just check daily for reports - because they won't appear for you if your user is on another instance), please consider volunteering!

Moderating is usually not too difficult. Posts/comments get reported maybe around weekly or less, currently. So unless there's a big fight where you need to step in, it's not usually much to do.

I'd love to see a team of 2-4 willing to step up for this. And considering the community, I'd love to see most of those be women, but men are certainly not excluded in any way from volunteering. Diversity is generally a Good Thing™.
