Introducing Thundermail. Ad free, privacy-first email from Thunderbird that puts you in control. You might know Thunderbird as the app you use to manage email. Now we’re building the email service behind it, too. Thundermail is an inbox with no ads and no data selling.

(Sorry if this has been posted before, I can remove it if so but this was news to me)

I was interested until I read the TOS which says they can share my info with third parties for $$$. Totally ironic and complete bullshit.

    https://tb.pro/en-US/privacy/

Personal Data may be shared with MZLA affiliates, including Mozilla Foundation and Mozilla Corporation, to facilitate customer service, marketing, order fulfillment, billing, technical support, and legal and compliance obligations.

Subprocessors and Service Providers: We may use vendors to provide services on our behalf, including hosting, marketing, social, analytics, support ticketing, credit card processing, or security services. They are bound by contractual obligations to ensure the security, privacy, and confidentiality of your information. Please visit this page to see our list of Subprocessors.

So second block is basically "even though we market ourselves as a privacy service, we're going to share your data with a bunch of third party companies for stuff like marketing, social, and analytics (gee, I wonder what companies those could be), but they promise to not share with anyone else (unless they have sub contractors too).
