In the centre, a large sculpture of a skull with large teeth (its edges defined by green neon), from the mouth of which emerges a staircase on which stands a man in Qing-era clothing. I saw this movie for the first time last year.

It fucking rules.

It’s one of the only movies I can watch multiple times (bc of my crazy good memory, I know all the beats, plots, and most lines to everything I’ve seen) bc it’s so fun.

Another like that for me: Tremors. I'll watch them both every chance I get even though I know exactly what's going to happen.

Both in my list of action-comedy-horror favourites.

BTILC is an annual watch every August in the #KungFusat watch party, & in #FridayThrillerClub we're about to embark on a marathon of all 7 (😲) Tremors films starting 6 November.
