“As I near 60 years old, the expiration date has come and gone on any of my youthful indiscretions,” Taylor told the Nashville Scene when asked about the unsolicited nudes allegation. “Whatever story you think you’ve got, my wife is well aware of, and we’ve worked through it a long time ago.”

“My God and my wife have forgiven me, and I would consider everyone else doing the same,” Taylor added.

I actually learned about this from a commercial, someday I hope we can get to a point where we have people campaigning on plans they show us they want to try to improve city/county/state/country instead of us having to choose between terrible person and hopefully not terrible person

When you have a representative democracy, you simply can't elect a terrible person if there is any other option, though. No matter what a terrible person promises, you can't trust them.

And the truth is that you cannot trust any currently elected Republican or Republican candidate unless they loudly spoke out against Trump, especially following the insurrection Trump attempted on January 6. We really don't have much in the way of options right now, other than to vote for the candidate most likely to beat a Republican. Partially due to the GOP destroying any last shreds of credibility, and partly due to our shitty FPTP elections.
