Literally the mentality of the English land-owning gentry enclosing the ancient commons and driving people off the land into dependency on them. It was bullshit then, and it's bullshit now.

It's straight up kleptoparasite mentality.

Uhh that's exactly what they want. The French revolution was just more rich assholes taking control. In this case it was the merchant class. The Techbro class definitely wants to take control. Also, the majority of people beheaded in the French revolution were commoners.
