Literally the mentality of the English land-owning gentry enclosing the ancient commons and driving people off the land into dependency on them. It was bullshit then, and it's bullshit now.

It's straight up kleptoparasite mentality.

    They won't care about rent-seeking without their brains. There's a simple solution to these problems, we just have to do it. It's easy and fun, so I hear. I'm willing to be the first, I'll accept those dirty hands
