I'm not clicking that link or going to Reddit...

But today I open Facebook because I sell a lot of shit on Marketplace....

There it was in my general news feed... All the top comments were talking about Lemmy.

This place is about to be overrun with sewer workers and 7-Eleven clerks.

    No, it is a metaphor for the uneducated/uninformed and uninterested in said. I rub shoulders with everyone irl, I'm not elitist. But it's about to get exhaustingly dumb in here
