As someone who found out about him about a year ago... Yea he's said dumb stuff, but who hasn't?

From the rest I've seen he's constantly pushing leftist candidates and ideas and he seems to be in a space that's dominated by right wing Nazi dipshits, so having him in there is a good thing.

The whole nepo baby comment I don't know and don't give a shit if true, the entire right is funded and bankrolled by Russians and fascists so I'm not going to nit pick.

Ok now I know you are either a troll or shill. Everything you said is just wrong and lies and you won't be able to back any of it up becuase there is hours of video of him proving the exact opposite.

The only time I've seen him say vile things is when he's making fun of Conservatives and ironically saying the vile shit they actually believe.

IE this entire fucking post and the reason for the lawsuit!!

On the matter of nepotism, his uncle is Cenk Uygur who is the co-creator of The Young Turks (a progressive news show). Hasan acknowledges that he benefited from nepotism to launch his career as a political commentator since he got his start working for The Young Turks with his uncle. It's not like he hides it or presents himself as "self-made" or any other bullshit like that, so I don't really have a problem with it either.

I do see a problem with dumb people following rich people, which is why I'm a socialist. I don't see Hasan as a leader, I see him as a comrade. Socialism is not a poverty cult, the rich can be class traitors too and it matters where their money came from and if they're honest about it. Hasan also puts his money where his mouth is, donating to campaigns, mobilizing his audience to campaign, funding and fundraising for causes like the PCRF, and delivering aid to and platforming Cubans suffering under US sanctions. Anyone who consistently delivers materially to the working class deserves the benefit of the doubt.

During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Piker, in partnership with CARE International, raised over $200,000 for Ukrainian humanitarian aid while playing Elden Ring, with an average of over 70,000 people watching his coverage of the conflict.[64][65][66]

In the aftermath of the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake, Piker organized a fundraiser that was also contributed to and promoted by other streamers and content creators, including Jacksepticeye, Valkyrae, Ludwig Ahgren, and IShowSpeed. As of February 10, the fundraiser had raised over $1,200,000 for charities such as CARE International's Turkish and Syrian branches, as well as two Turkish NGOs: the AKUT Search and Rescue Association and Ahbap, which was founded by Turkish musician Haluk Levent.[67][68][69]

During the Gaza war, Piker's charity drive on his channel had raised over $1,000,000 as of October 21, 2023, for the Palestine Children's Relief Fund, American Near East Refugee Aid, Medical Aid for Palestinians, and the Palestine Red Crescent Society.[70][71]

During a March 2026 livestream, Piker helped raise more than $56,000 for congressional candidate Oliver Larkin.[79] Wired called this an example of content creators using their online influence for direct fundraising.[79]

He denies using a shock collar on his dog, but looking at the evidence gathered through old videos, still frames from new videos, and from people who personally interacted with the dog would suggest that to be a lie. I do not know if he still uses a shock collar on his dog since the latest controversy.

Shock collars don't even work on dogs like Kaya. Their fur is too thick around their neck. You've completely fallen for a smear campaign.

You people are so fucking dumb.

There is no way those prongs would hit Kaya's skin. I know that because I have a family member with the exact same brand of collar. Those prongs are pretty short, and you wouldn't even fucking bother. It is an excellent noisemaker for the dog. You can use it for long-range calling. It makes a loud beep and buzzes really well, and pretty much every dog is going to react to that.

Combine that with the "evidence" given, anyone that believes he shocked his dog is dumber than a box of nails. Wow, someone here said they looked at stillframes! Motherfuckers do the exact same thing as moon landing denialists and flat earthers do. It is insane to me that a fucking 15 second clip is groundbreaking evidence these fucking mouthbreathers give for a thing that even if it was true, would be relatively fucking minor to them, but goddamn do they fall for the same shit every time.

They don't work because shock collars need to make skin contact and Kaya's fur is incredibly thick around her neck because of the mix of breeds she is.

That you think Hasan is being propped up by the CCP is telling.

2025–present: Campaign activity In 2025, Piker began campaigning for political candidates.[72][2] Piker has appeared with political candidates during campaigns that sought support from popular internet personalities to reach voters online.[73] He has also supported candidates online. Piker said he was "very clear" that he was not "some socialist kingmaker", believing the media was not "that powerful".[74][75]

In the 2025 New York City mayoral election, Piker expressed support for Zohran Mamdani, and Mamdani appeared on Piker's stream.[76] During the campaign, Mamdani's political opponents used Piker's past remarks, especially his 2019 comment that "America deserved 9/11", in attacks against Mamdani, including in a televised advertisement aired by a pro-Andrew Cuomo super PAC.[77] Mamdani disavowed Piker's comments during a mayoral debate, calling them "objectionable and reprehensible".[78]

During a March 2026 livestream, Piker helped raise more than $56,000 for congressional candidate Oliver Larkin.[79] Wired called this an example of content creators using their online influence for direct fundraising.[79]

Piker rallied in Philadelphia with state representative Chris Rabb during the 2026 primary for Pennsylvania's 3rd congressional district, which Rabb went on to win in May.[80][81][82] Piker also campaigned for and hosted Adam Hamawy on stream during his run in New Jersey's 12th congressional district. Hamawy won his primary in June. Another congressional candidate Piker endorsed, hosted, and campaigned for, Saikat Chakrabarti, finished third in the nonpartisan primary for California's 11th congressional district, failing to advance to the general election.[74]

In June 2026, Piker was refused entry to the UK alongside Cenk Uygur, which he argued was "due to my criticism of Israel". The UK Home Office said the decision was due to Piker's "potential risk" and because his presence "may not be conducive to the public good".[83][84][85][86] Free speech activists criticized the decision.[87] He had been invited to speak at the Oxford Union and SXSW London. The Oxford Union said Piker would deliver his speech via livestream.[88][89][90] Piker said the decision showed the "fascist" direction the "Western world" was taking.[91]

Ahead of the 2026 Democratic primaries for the House of Representatives in New York, Piker campaigned at a June event in Bushwick, Brooklyn, for Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier, who went on to win the Democratic nominations in New York's 7th and 13th districts, respectively.[92] That same month, Piker hosted Melat Kiros on his stream ahead of her primary challenge to Diana DeGette in Colorado's 1st congressional district.[93][94] Kiros defeated DeGette in her primary.[95]

During the 2026 Democratic Party primaries in Michigan, Piker campaigned for Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Two of El-Sayed's opponents, Mallory McMorrow and Haley Stevens, criticized Piker's involvement based on past remarks, particularly about the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.[96][97] Democratic State Representative Carrie Rheingans chose not to participate in the event with Piker while continuing to support El-Sayed.[98] Piker's involvement in the Michigan primary became a source of division within the Democratic Party.[99][100] El-Sayed won the primary.[101] Piker also campaigned with Donavan McKinney, who defeated incumbent Shri Thanedar in the August primary for Michigan's 13th congressional district.[102] That month, former Missouri congresswoman Cori Bush, who had campaigned with Piker at a May Day rally in St. Louis, lost her bid for the Democratic nomination in Missouri's 1st congressional district to her successor, Wesley Bell.[103][104]

Oh yeah, I’m notoriously so horny for men. Everyone knows me around here for being the most horny for men and only men. I just looooove himbos so much.

It’s certainly not because I’m relatively well versed in politics and follow these issues closely. No way.

Always with the gayest shit imaginable when it's about Hasan. MAGA behavior.

No, dude. You can ignore him and move on if you don't like his personality, but attacking him, his messages and the awareness he spreads? You are a fascist for doing that. You stupid child. TikTok brain ass moron, holy shit. You only cost us, Mexicans, tons of innocent people every year. You want to silence Hasan because he is bringing awareness to the Iron River, and you hate that, because you love to see innocent people die. You probably have stocks in the companies that manufacture the guns they market to the cartels, don't you?

You are not a real communist. You are just an obstacle. A proven liar and a terrorist who doesn't want to help us.

And by the way, "join local communist parties in Mexico", with what car? What money to move around? Imagine I gathered, I don't know, 6 communists. Then what? American propaganda funded by people like you made sure the majority here distrust communism. Literally, we'd all end watching Hasan's streams, because he is the closest there is to a communist influencer spreading class consciousness, although he is more socialist. Bravo, Vince. You're a genius, bro. Oh my god, you are just like Vladimir Lenin, bro. What a magnificent plan. Spreading communist/socialist awareness. Oh wow. We just have to tell people to watch Hasan with the translator on, dude.

You don't have anyone to recommend, so, we'd end watching Hasan, you mop.

He's a leftist political streamer on twitch. He has been at it for many years now, and has recently been the target of many a smear campaign by conservative (and lots of liberal) media, especially after he campaigned with some leftist candidates throughout the United States in the recent primaries. Including Mamdani, and Abdul El-Sayed to name a couple. He comes off a bit like a dude bro, and has said provocative things. But personally I think he has lots of fantastic takes.

This quote is from a satirical comedy bit where he is playing a character imitating a specific archetype of a conservative at the time. The video even includes a disclaimer that it is satire, so if you saw a clip of him saying that and just believed it then it shows that you don't even do the bare minimum of checking context.
