I'm running:
- Fedora 44 on AMD CPU/GPU
- Dedicated Wifi 6 travel router with only the Frame connected wirelessly
- Travel router WAN port to home network
- PC - > USB ethernet adapter - > ethernet cable -> travel router
- Steam Link dongle connected through a 3' USB 3.0 extension cable.
The weird thing I notice with this update is suddenly the dongle is really picky about what USB port it's plugged into. And before anyone says anything: they're identical USB 3.2 ports on the same controller.
I'll get frame drops, artifacts, and screen tearing if the ethernet adapter is in port "1" and the dongle is in port "2". If I flip them and restart Steam VR it works perfectly.
