Too bad the BC NDP and BC Greens advocated against Single Transferable Vote in 2005 as they both instead want Mixed-Member Proportional instead of a massive upgrade over undemocratic First-Past-The-Post. We were at 57.7% public support for STV missing the unreasonable BC Liberal threshold of 60%.

Even if it's not the proportional representation electoral system you want, it's much easier to reform it after proprep is established.
