    lowest socioeconomic demographic

    What's the difference between "poor people" and "lowest socioeconomic demographic"? Is "economic sociology" an important difference when it's used instead of "poor", or is it part of the euphemism treadmill for places where "poor" is now a taboo word?

    Socio= social class/status; economic= income bracket

    I dunno, I'm just a yoga teacher but my side hobby is maximizing my vocabulary outreach because different words have different nuances & depth of meaning, and "socioeconomic demographic" sounded more descriptive & specific than just saying "poor."
