Every line in the boot path is code we wrote. There is zero Apple code between power-on and Linux. The bootloader is ours, top to bottom. To our knowledge, no one has done this on an A13 device before.

Nice job, but are you Rosenzweig level? Because booting the kernel on iPhones has been done before. Getting a usable software stack is a whole other territory.

And I think running Android (with every hardware working) on these would be harder than what's Asahi done for M-Macbooks.

Why would you want Android anyway, it only works properly if you have it as closed down as iOS, otherwise you lose a ton of apps. If you're gonna lose the ability to use banks and whatnot, might as well just go mainline Linux.

Not that I would want Android on iPhones, it just looked that would be eaiser to achieve than pure Linux because some components of iPhones already have driver blobs for Android. Of course Android has its own quirks too, so maybe not so different.
