Unless farming simulator did something really weird during a specific update, all saves should be forward compatible. I would do what the other guy said and just download the most recent available version and apply the later patches to that. If you're using Lutris you can delete the game files (not the prefix, just the folder with the exe) and point Lutris at the new exe
