Maybe a mad hatter tea party? Watering her bush? I dunno. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] BilSabab@lemmy.world [S] 3 points 1 month ago (2 children) nah, it's 70s Penthouse. They might as well be referencing Crying of Lot 49. The whole Penthouse shtick early on was to "MAKE SMUT GREAT AGAIN" which resulted in very crude and sometimes extremely effective mimicking of then already bygone mid 60s Playboy aesthetic which was less about sexy and more about vibes and lifestyle fantasy. By late 60s early 70s Playboy toned down the lifestyle fantasy considerably and transitioned into more refined nude photography that had more to do with classical nude painting conventions than smut and sleazy nudes of 50s and 60s. That's where the focus of body aesthetics came from. Meanwhile Penthouse brought the smut back into lifestyle fantasy and it resulted in a lot of wacky stuff like this set. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ddd@fedinsfw.app 1 point 1 month ago (1 child) Neat!
