There are both pros and cons to either, PC gaming for starters is expensive considering today's economic landscape considering handheld PC's a cheaper alternative. Console gaming (Switch, XBOX, PS) cost less than a full desktop PC (let alone a gaming laptop), there are consoles for indoor use only (PS5) and portable / hybrid (like the Switch). Each format has exclusive titles.

One thing: PC has better local multiplayer games support. It has more local multiplayer games than even the Wii has in total. They just don't get advertised as much.

Co-optimus isn't even fully up to date, but it lists 5400 games on PC at the moment.
