Just to be clear, this wasn't voted down, it wasn't voted on prior to the state assembly going on summer recess. Still dumb that they couldn't vote on this and just get easy PR leading up to the election in November. That being said, it was Republicans that stalled the bill being moved to the floor despite no one having the balls to come out against it the numerous times it has been discussed.
