As a straight guy, I must emphasise, "straight but not narrow (minded)". Also, that phrase is awesome and I will try to work it into my lexicon.

(The problem is, I'm Gen X and "queer" was derogatory for so long. The LGBTQ+ community has been reclaiming it for so long, it's not really derogatory anymore, but it still feels like "using the hard R" as it were.)
