The one plus side to the Equalists not feeling resolved properly means that I now have a very solid writeup for my Avatar Legends campaign that I'm running where I can make the Equalists the primary antagonist and my party can basically do what the avatar forgot to after the Water tribe civil war started. Seriously though, even if they weren't the primary villains anymore, that movement wasn't founded from nothing A on just helped it along, there's no reason it couldn't keep showing up in small ways throughout the series.
