@DiddlyDonger on Twitter, "For those of you who are into older women I'll have you know I recently turned 28". A random user responds "Pushing 30 with no kids in 2026 is Crazy". Diddly replied back "You are literally homeless" and he responds "And I have a much happier future being built than your lonely one". Diddly then posts "That's not what your gofundme suggests" with a picture of some text, highlighed is "I am tens of thousands of dollars in debt" and "I have no family, friends and zero connections to help me." @DreamsTurnDark chimes in "On the one hand, men in glass houses have no business throwing stones. He was wrong for that & should've known better." Diddly then says "What do you mean men in glass houses... he doesn't have a house".

early 40s and I don't feel old at all. Yet my younger zoomer coworkers behave like life is over at 24-26. Last time I asked my parents (boomers), they told me they started feeling old in their early 30s. Might be a generational thing.

I finally feel like an adult but I think that's less to do with my age and far more to do with my family, career and financial status. Physically I'm in far better shape now than I was a decade ago, so I've got that going for me at least!

  • Yeah idk, I'm 35 and I've felt like a teenager trapped in a slowly decaying meat prison since I was like... 17 maybe? Even as I graduated, got a job, got married, started a family... Every step it was just like "Surely this is where I finally start to feel like a real Grown-Up," and every time it just doesn't change. I still feel like a stupid teenager pretending to be an adult. One that does an alright job pretending mind you, but I still feel like I'm just pretending even after this long.
