Genetic diversity actually makes people look better which is why brits are so ugly* on their fairly isolated (other than some vikings a while ago) island while us Estonians have some very beautiful people after having at least half a dozen empires run train on us over the last 2 millennia. I mean I'm not one of those beautiful people, but there are a lot of them! lmao

Also it makes for a healthier population, not just a better looking one. So the genetic isolation Trump seems to want, eh... not good.

* Okay I'm just taking the piss on y'all, that British teeth thing is an American stereotype, I've never seen it IRL lmao

    I respect the bit but

while us Estonians have some very beautiful people after having at least half a dozen empires run train on us over the last 2 millennia.

Hon you've literally just described the history of the british isles. Righ back to the Younger Dryas. The Anatolian farmers. Then the bell beakers. Then the celts. Then the romans. Then the jutes, the angles, the saxons, then the vikings, the danes, the french.....

That's over a much longer time period tbf. In the last 1000 years alone we've had the Swedes, the Danes, the Poles, the Holy Roman Empire, Russians (both in imperial and soviet variants), nazi Germany for 3 years, etc.

If we go back as far as the Younger Dryas nobody knows for sure what happened here because so little is known about the different cultures that lived here. Written history mostly starts with the crusade in the 13th century. Before that there's only mentions of conflicts with Scandinavians. Go back further and we're talking about comb ceramic culture and corded ware culture which apparently come with their own genetic markers due to the fact that the cultures themselves were brought by the movement of Yamnaya people for corded and fuck knows what people for comb - genetically it was a mixture of mostly eastern hunter-gatherer with some western hunter-gatherer and western steppe herder thrown in, but the actual people don't have name. Narva culture and earlier was more western hunter-gatherer genetically. It's a huge mess. But same could be said for most continental people, real genetic isolation only really happened on remote islands.

I've seen them making fun of themselves over that on the BBC ads on old Doctor Who DVDs. Their junkfood has even more sugar in it then the American stuff.

    Found it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn_KN4UiZXA

no it's because dentistry isn't on the NHS unless it's hazardous to your health, and instead says that aesthetics and day to day care are optional private procedures and that's just how teeth look when the average person doesn't have 2-4 years of orthodontics and regular whitening and polishing procedures.

Which tbf is more of an American dumb psyop than anything logical.

People in Japan only get orthodontics when they need them and they have the longest life expectancy in the world. No one cares if your teeth are a little crooked. But as always, the US is obsessed with the most plastic and unnecessarily expensive version of yourself you can aspire to be.

Personally, I'd rather see crooked teeth than those swollen lips that for some reason seem to be popular with western models. No idea why, they are so offputting to me.

It really makes me wonder if either my tastes are way off from average, the beauty industry has no fucking clue what it's doing but lies about it, or if it's based on reality but just enough people suck at doing it in practice that there's plenty of awful results out there that stand out while the good ones fly under the radar.

It's just a really old meme that all bri'ish people are ugly. Also a stereotype that they're always looking for hot Baltic women (mostly prostitutes, really) when they're having stag dos or whatever.

As for attractive Estonians - idk where you're located, but I see tons of them. Granted, I'm looking at women. I hear men on dating apps are, eh... particularly horrible here. I've been shown some profiles. So if you're looking at Estonian men on dating apps, I'll have to agree, we're pretty ugly. All the classically attractive male friends I have are in happy 10+ year relationships at this point, pretty much nobody's even used Tinder.
