Well. Like any game vs. software release, this is not an uodate, just a new game. A different interpretation of Civ game concept.

Is there a point? Yes if you want to play this new game. If you like cov6, then no.

    Sorry, I realize I could have been more clear with my question.

    So, I wasn't interested in the new mechanic of switching civilizations multiple times throughout the game and I'm glad they added an option to turn that off. However, are the other prominent mechanics of the game different or improved (although that might be too subjective) enough from 6 for me to give it a try, or should I just stick to 6 for now?
