Ok so I've opened this at precon and wrapped my deck around it in UG shell. Ulted 3 times in 4 bo3 rounds. Could've done more if I wouldn't smack in some rounds to death via sheer outvalue.

Last ult was at 5 turn timelimit. And yeah theoretically I should've won that, but 5 turn timelimit was also 5 min timelimit.

Dunno why I've shown up. Just another reminder that I hate precons. Always keep forgetting that.

Reminder text is on the regular version of the card, which is attached to the post.

702.61a: Split second is a static ability that functions only while the spell with split second is on the stack. "Split second" means "As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast other spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities."

702.61b: Players may activate mana abilities and take special actions while a spell with split second is on the stack. Triggered abilities trigger and are put on the stack as normal while a spell with split second is on the stack.

702.61c: Multiple instances of split second on the same spell are redundant.

I'd say the most common "special actions" that are used at instant speed are turning a face-down morphed/manifested/disguised/cloaked permanent face-up.

It's especially tricky because the creatures enter for you, then you give them away. That makes harmful enters abilities not work because they would trigger for you, not the opponent receiving them.

    You could ban creatures (mostly):

Grid Monitor Steel Golem Geist-Fueled Scarecrow Marble Titan

Or just give stuff that's painful for goading:

Galactus, Devourer of Worlds Ulamog's Crusher Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Lands having hexproof is shockingly relevant across many formats. I wonder if this ends up seeing more play than people expect? It pretty much shuts down almost any kind of LD strategy, turns off Strip Mine, Rishadan Port, Field of Ruin (and friends), and so on. The activated ability is also something you can use with fetchlands if you have the spare mana and need to surveil. Plus, the 3/2 body could end up being pretty aggressive.

The +1/+1 counters only go on other Wizard tokens you control, so the floor is a 2/2 for 3 mana at sorcery speed. If this had faster recursion, it'd be more interesting, but this just feels too slow.
