There were a few “twisters” on the street by my place, then there was ice cubes sized hail.

By twister I mean the wind was spinning in a small place, I am sure you could stand in it if you wanted to to be drowning in the water falling from the sky.

I didn't even know pets were allowed on buses at any capacity! That means when I took my pet chinchilla to the university vet clinic in a duffel bag 10 years ago I wasn't breaking any laws, lol.

Transit fees should be free, it should be a social system to get people around. Then there should be some public transit between different cities and towns in Saskatchewan, this should also be free. Encourage people to take public transit, and make it easier for those who need to use it to afford it.

Maybe my far left socialist beliefs are showing through but transit should not be a reason people cannot get to work, education, or out of their home.

From the article it looks like it was not. My parents would have gotten a few $2 tickets if it was enforced in the 90’s! But it was made about 100 years ago and from what I remember reading in the article they could not find any mention of it being enforced.

I'd agree that that quote seemingly has nothing to do with the rest of the article, and doesn't belong. At the very least the journalist could have tried to link it in to the discussion somehow, maybe bringing it back to how the new bus lanes could improve businesses?

The screening is a bit hit or miss. My partner had to go to emergency at RUH a few weeks back and I was merely asked if I was carrying anything sharp. When I left there were people coming in and they had to run their possessions through the x-ray machine.

If a new arena is ever built, perhaps a toilet manufacturer should be granted naming rights.

That theme could also infuse the design, giving enhanced meaning to the terms 'upper bowl' and 'lower bowl.'

The level of snark in this article is hilarious.
