It seems to me the obvious next step.

I mean if other jobs requirements like IT and even accounting had started asking for more certifications and experience to work, then why the heck shouldn't presidents get asked to be more qualified for their jobs?

In a lot of health problems, the first steps involve listing symptoms and matching it as needed with blood tests, x-ray and other tests to finally lead to diagnosis and treatment. most if not all of the process could be automated to save time and get the best treatment.

To be clear: The automation I am talking about could be just an online symptoms form that give you the tests you need to have before deciding what to do.

In practice: This could be for example a person suffering from low vitamin D levels. Instead of visiting a doctor to order a blood test and then return to the doctor to prescribe him vitamin D, all that could be:

Filling online symptoms form(with pre-written symptoms database to select from) ➩ visiting any blood tests lab ➩ getting a vitamin D prescription.

Why didn't any hospital or healthcare facility apply this?

How does "fuck you" work as insult? What is the origin?

I find this very weird.

On one hand you got text, which is very accessible and very efficient and easy to translate for non-native speakers.

On the other, you got photos of text which is inefficient, hard to translate and not easy to read compared to just text.

So what gives? Why do people use photos of text instead of text?

How the fuck do people don't get radical or depressed?

References for claims mentioned in the question:

How do you keep yourself sane and happy while 1) Right wing fascists are getting powerful 2) women rights are getting weaker in several countries over the world 3) Inequalities are raising?

I feel like I’ve been thinking about this too much in the last few days.

If you could recreate every drawing in history digitally or in better quality overall, wouldn’t your work be considered superior?

Why the hell isn’t there a nonprofit project that does this already?

This photo is currently the top post in the r/pics community on Reddit, with close to 50k upvotes.

I have my suspicions about the photo and wanted other people's opinions about it.

Is this AI?

That one thing that keeps puzzling me.

it feels weird when an American author keep giving media interviews talking about the cause they are advocating for and keep referencing their paywalled book.

Why do they not at least release the book for free after say a certain period(say 3 months) to advance their cause beyond their existence.

I had seen this phenomenon with American politicians, people important in technology and even feminists and social advocates.

Why?

Out of nowhere I started seeing communities getting empty, mods getting inactive and most posts seem to get way less comments.

The only major event that happened during the last month as far as I remember is the deletion of 1 third-party Lemmy front-end developer instance and account and stopping the development.

Anything else happening? Why did people stop posting and commenting here?

I just noticed it now, what is the reason?

Why does the "Fuck AI" community have more than 30 moderators?

It does not make sense to me why people would want to live beyond 50 years old, especially since health problems start becoming more frequent around that age.

Which makes me ask: Why do people wish to live long beyond the age of 50?

My theory is something something consumerist culture.

But I am not really sure of how and why.
