I give this 1 star because it fails to mention (perhaps the author does not know) that xylitol is EXTREMELY TOXIC to dogs. It KILLS. There are many other sugar substitutes that might be used.

Why would you give lemon drizzle cake yo a dog?????

I first tried it with water, not very good that way, milk made all the difference

You definitely need some sort of milk for this golden milk recipe!

I noticed there were NO eggs in this recipe, so I added one. What a disappointment. The edges were baked and the middle was complete mush...even after I put it back in the oven for 40 minutes!

We used Pepsi so l'm not sure if that was why it was a bit too sweet but I think we will use regular soy sauce next time if I don't have a Coke.

There isn't any Coke or Pepsi in this recipe.

Tried with coconut since that is better than regular flour and it came out too crumbly. Tried to fix. Need more details for people who don't usually bake.

Horrible!! It's way too sticky and gooey. I altered this with someone else's review that said to use 2 bars of chocolate instead of cocoa powder. Mad is an understatement.

Phil
I substituted the pumpkin puree for apple cider vinegar and it tasted awful.

Tieghan
Hi Phil! I definitely would not recommend using apple cider vinegar in this recipe, so sorry you didn't enjoy this! xT

Gwen V
Just to be clear Phil, you gave this recipe a 1 star because YOU substituted vinegar in place of the pumpkin puree that the recipe calls for??? No one would ever think that vinegar would be a great
substitute for pumpkin...

Cece
no shit phil

1/1000 I would give this rating if I could!
I don't know how this is supposed to be a chocolate-chip cookie recipe, it doesn't say when to add chocolate chips and how many chips to add. And since when do chocolate-chips cookies have peanut butter!!?

Jaclyn
This isn't a chocolate chip cookie recipe. This is a peanut butter cookie recipe.

This is bubbling and rising but tastes foul. I had a spoonful then my husband did. He nearly vomited. There's no way I'm making bread with this.

Melanie McDonald says
Please don't eat raw sourdough starter. It is intended to be baked with, not eaten as it is. Also it contains raw flour which can cause food poisoning.
